Installation

Our personnel have over several years gathered a whole lot of experience in installation of various telecommunication equipment and telecommunications infrastructure. Some of these are Switching, Transmission and Power equipment and Optic Fibre Networks.

Commissioning

Our Engineers have in the past been involved with commissioning of telecommunication installations across Nigeria. Aside commissioning, they have at several times carried out acceptance testing for operators on behalf of Equipment vendor they worked for in the past.

Decommissioning

We have a highly experienced team that can carefully disconnect from power and remove any network device (including connecting wires) without disrupting the system from an active network.

Fibre Optics Networks

We have had a pretty large portfolio of optic fibre jobs across the country for a startup company like ours. We have done jobs for some Networks and for some Vendors on behalf of Networks. We undertake planning and implementation of optic fibre networks: excavation, cable laying, back filling, concrete re-enforcement, splicing, attenuation test and acceptance testing.

Training

UICT Nigeria Limited also have resource capability to conduct trainings and proficiency building for network operators and sub – contractors.

Network Operation

We have the capacity and experience and the expertise to carry out equipment configuration, fault management, and performance management for clients who would rather keep their OPEX low by outsourcing these functions. A breakdown of our Network function includes:-

Mast/ Tower Installation

• Installation (mounting of Tower grids).
• Provision of Safety signs on the mast.
• Check and rectify the condition of mast base, welding failure / cracks etc. Tightening of loose nuts and bolts and rectifying any joint failure.
• Feeder cable entrance to mast / tower, strapping of cable on tray.
• Painting of the tower.

Electrical Installation / Power system

• Air condition supply, installation and maintenance.
• Earthen system installation for radio cable, electrical installations and tower / mast.
• Surge protection system installation for equipment and cabinets.
• Generator supply, installation, servicing and maintenance.
• Installation of Automatic Mains Failure (AMF), Automatic Voltage Regulator(AVR)
• Installation, Repairs and Services of Solar Power Systems, Inverters, BTS Rectifier and Batteries and Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS),Solar power system installation for BTS and radio equipment.
• Installation of DC backup power supply for BTS and Repeater stations.

Asset Tracking and Management

• Identify, categorize and tag all company assets at BTS sites and in the offices.
• Create a data base for the entire asset identified on the network.
• Management of all company assets at the BTS sites.
